Dear friends, I'm almost done with my trip to Phoenix for training. I checked the scale last Tuesday and yesterday. I have not gained a pound. It appeared that I may have lost half a pound but I'm not going to get too excited. I need routine. I'm working on a list of foods that I can live without. Some foods are not worth eating for fuel or for taste. Last nights dinner was a burger w/o the bun and a salad. I had a light beer with it and I ate it very late. Late dinners don't work for me. How is your journey going? If you need encouragement, trust me. You can do it. Given enough time, I will too. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for thankful Thursday.

Weight Loss Wednesday
Dear friends, welcome to weight loss Wednesday. I love all your encouragement and I need your support. Currently, I'm out of town for training. My eating has not been so great since leaving home. I have managed to consume a beer a night except last night, which was two beers. I've also managed to get to the gym for my regular work out. I found the scale yesterday and haven't found any pounds yet. I doubt that will continue. My dinners have been salads and I've turned to snacks to keep me from dozing off during training. This will last until the end of the month and I'm hoping to find a good balance. I'm off to go run 2 or 2.5 miles. How has it been for you? Please stay tuned for thankful Thursday.

High Five For Friday Food Edition
It is high time for High Five for Friday the food edition. I have instagrammed the heck out of all my meals to prove to you and myself that I am slowly moving in the right direction nutritionally. Although, Wednesday's lunch was a set back (any potluck day at work will be like that and I'm just accepting my choices and moving on.) Happy Friday friends!
Sunday scones: let me know if you are interested in the recipe.
Monday dinner was soba noodles, teriyaki sauce, broccoli and overcooked cod. Oops, I went overboard on the zip n steam. I am no chef over here and I am surprised when I successfully make dinner.
Tuesday lunch at Cafe 7. I did great ordering my salad dry but I caved on the cookie. I've been eyeing those cookies for awhile now and decided it was time to break down while I was already there.
Wednesday night dinner with left over soba noodles, pumpkin, corn and edamame. Hmm, I forgot the protein but I didn't forget to pair dinner with a pumpkin ale brewed locally.
Clearly this isn't everything I've eaten all week but I documented enough. I am linking up with Lauren From My Grey Desk.

Fuzzy Tacos
Tonight, we ate at Fuzzy Tacos. I had the best salad ever, because it was loaded with shredded beef. I customized it by removing onions (yuck), and the two kinds of cheeses. I had my salad dressing on the side but I didn't need much. The meat was so tender and juicy. The only thing I would change is probably taking off the chips too. This was a healthy dinner that was incredibly flavorful. We also enjoyed a lovely walk there and back in the warm humidity of Oklahoma City. We passed by the Chesapeake Arena where the news crews are already abuzz for tomorrows game. Its going to be exciting! Thunder up!
