Weekend letters

Dear Sunday,
You are not my favorite day. So many times, I have to do chores. Preparing for the work week is a downer.

Dear Saturday,
We had our ups and downs. Floating on the lake with a refreshing brew was great. Our concert was more of a down. The shots were epic and the cheers were everywhere.

Dear Monday,
Please be kind to me. I would like to relax and sleep. I'll get a run in too. Hopefully my abs will be agreeable to the run.

Dear bloggy friends,
How was your weekend? Please do tell me of your exploits. ;)

Bittersweet

Happy Saturday lovely people! Today I have the pleasure of working after enjoying a full 40 hour week and that means I'm making overtime. Last night friends came over and we had a lot of fun. Perhaps too much considering how I felt when woke up. Still worth it.

Saturday

I love a good Saturday. The kind of day where I sleep in when I want. Leisurely start the day. I enjoy the best gym in the Oklahoma City. I find fun activities within biking distance of home. Black widow spiders are killed. Locally brewed beer is consumed. Deals were found at Kohls.

That was my Saturday (about a month ago, oops) and I hope yours was the best as well.

Hump day

Some Wednesdays feel like hump day. Today is a good example of that. Thankfully, in the midst of misunderstanding I can remind myself that the weekend is a couple of days away.

I will be running a race on Saturday and I’m looking forward to it! It’s a benefit for cancer survivors and I love to give back to my community.

Peace

As the weekend draws near, I contemplate on how busy or relaxed it will be. A relaxing weekend is well-deserved since the last three weekends have been shortened by overtime at work. I envision myself lying next to the pool with an ice cold adult beverage nearby and a good book to read. I would imagine myself on vacation enjoying the hotel’s pool. I will float away in the pool and forget about the weekdays stresses. I hope your weekend will be good. I am ready for Saturday.

Settling in

I met with a few girls from a meetup to watch the movie Something Borrowed. It was good but I’m not going to read the book. My favorite part was meeting someone who works in the business I want to be in and the company that interviewed me. It was great to chat with her for a little bit. I hope to meet with her again and learn more.

I also got to watch the Thunder game at my neighbors. It was a great Saturday! What do you like to do on Saturdays?

Wonderful Weekend

The weekends rating is Positive.

Friday, my friend came over and we had fun watching tv, playing Yahtzee and having a few drinks. Saturday, I went to another friend’s house. We watched a movie, ate leftovers, and fresh baked brownies. YUM! It was a lot of fun!

As I tried a new church today, I realized that I don’t need church. I need people who love God, who want to have fun with me, and who want to encourage and possibly push me to love others more. We all need people around us to do the very same things. We help each other out and that’s how God created us, relational beings that need to be with others.

I have let relationships fall aside. Possibly for quite stupid reasons. I now ask for forgiveness and if you want to reopen those doors with me, please email me at estherdavison@rocketmail.com. I welcome opening old friendships and creating new ones. Lets walk life together and try to have some fun too.

Miracle

Today’s rating is Positive.

It was a tough week but I managed to get through it with help from friends. I also experienced a miracle this week and I am still thanking God for it. I had my phone on my lap and as I got out of the car it fell down next to the emergency brake. The emergency brake is next to the door, so its a miracle the phone didn’t fall on the ground. My panic levels were extremely high and I still needed five minutes after finding the phone to calm down.

Have you experienced any miracles?
