Silly Saturday: D'oh Edition

When the Simpsons first came out, I was in junior high. My parents didn't see the humor and didn't want me to watch it. Being the perfect first born (any first borns out there?) I didn't watch it until I met my husband. Guys change you. We own most of the seasons and we DVR the new episodes to watch later. Impressively, this is the longest running show ever, which makes perfect sense since no one ages ever.

Recently, a Simpsons game has come out: The Simpsons Tapped Out. I can't stop playing this mindless game. If you need something to fill your time with entertainment, buy this game. Technically, its free for iPhone and iPad but there's in app purchases that I never buy.

Dear friends, welcome to silly Saturday. I like to be silly and let loose. When I worked at a satellite tv provider, I always smiled when a person would ask if they should mash the power button. I would reply, "yes, mash the power button." When I worked at a bank, I would smile at people who asked about the time machine. Somehow ATM is very similar to time machine. Finally, I know the official term is soda pop but to me, its always been pop. So what do you call it? Please comment below. Come back for serious Sunday. I promise, its not very serious.

I had this ridiculous post all written up and Silly Blogger decided to eat it.

There's no way I can reproduce that gold, instead I'm sharing on of my Christmas presents.

I can't get enough of this Kleen Kanteen. for the record mugs, water bottles and cups with cute designs and great utility make me happy and gives me smiles. And I think to myself,"that's pretty crazy to be smiling over something so trivial." I guess it's the little things in life that need to be appreciated. I'll go with that so I don't feel too silly.

Welcome to Silly Saturday, a light-hearted post designed to bring a smile.

While living in Anchorage Alaska and going to the University of Alaska Anchorage (Go Seawolves!), we decided to spend spring break in Homer, Alaska. Trust me...this is not a hopping spring break destination. We went because I scored us a free hotel room.

While enjoying some much deserved adult beverages, I was watching tv while the boys played a game. Music videos were blaring and there's a chance P. Diddy's music video was on. (I don't really know what his music videos or music is like so it could have been any other artist.) I had a moment of brilliance.

I will be known as E. Diddy.

It has stuck ever since.

Most people earn their nicknames but I gave it to myself.

Silly?

Unequivocally, yes.

Welcome to Silly Saturday, where I display how silly I can be and showcase other's silliness. This post came about in part because I love alliteration in my titles. Through a series of emails, Kay at Colb, Kay & T. Rae complimented me on my masters degree. Truthfully, I haven't really had the opportunity to use it but I'm praying someday it will help me out. She said her students wanted to start calling her Master Zoe after she finished her degree. Considering I haven't used mine for much of anything, I thought a title would be putting it to some good use. I tried it out on my co-workers and both scoffed at me. I tried it with my husband and he said that was stupid. (One co-worker actually said it was silly.) And then I gave up the idea entirely (except right here.) So, would you call me "Master Davison" or "Master E"? Perhaps that's just a little too silly for the general population. Oh well. I will find a use for that experience one of these days. One....of....these....days. Please stay tuned for Serious Sunday and its not usually that serious. Master E.

I have been waiting for today all week! Wine and Palette at Boleros with sangria during the noon hour. Pampering at Flux Salon becoming gorgeous-fied.
