Roof or party deck?
Yesterday, I listed my top 5 and it was a fun exercise in focusing on the positives of a day. I would like to continue that to today and encourage you to do the same. Staying positive is not easy but it's good for your health.
My top 5 for Thursday:
1: I had a Lara bar for snack, yummy!
2: I shared tips with my coworkers to help with sales.
3: It rained today, so refreshing!
4: I came up with a new career plan.
5: I came to the museum to have a good time.

Changes to come soon

Today’s rating is Positive.
I am going to switch gears on this blog and chronicle more about my life. My current stress relieving tip is to take time out to do something fun. Find your favorite activity and do it. Sometimes, I’ll go browsing for purses and other times I’ll go out for a bike ride. What activity do you find fun?
The job hunt is on pause until the move is complete. The move is a week from today and I am excited for all the changes in store for me. I am continuing to pray for wisdom since there will be many decisions to be made. Dear Lord, Thank you for your protection and wisdom that you provide to me. I need every bit of help! Amen.

Distractions are good

Today’s rating is Positive.
Work was less demanding, I had a good conversation with HR at a company for a potential opportunity, and scheduled an appointment to show off the home. A lot was completed today, which is always very good.
I read an article about what to do when you hate your job. I found it useful because it is so important to distract yourself from a stressful situation. I find that I need a new distraction every day. Some days, I’m distracted by tv and other days I’m distracted by an activity with friends. This has been an effective strategy for me. If you find yourself blue and wallowing in misery, find something positive to distract you from the tough situation. You’ll feel better, like me.

Oh Happy Weekend!
Today’s rating is Positive.
I have exciting things this weekend. Events that could make my life happier. If things go well, then I could be moving. I need this. Please pray.
If you are in need of another tip for relieving stress, I have two for you just for the weekend. Take time to accomplish something that you have been meaning to get to. You will feel so strong and more in control. Take time to do an activity that you enjoy. It will help you feel less stressed. I pray we all have a good weekend! Cheers!
