Thankful Thursday
There's a lot of things to be thankful for. My health, my family's health, my job and my kitties. I think it's important to reflect on positive things. I had the interview today and I'll find out about the job later. I'm very nervous to find out whether I got it or not. Either way, I still have a good job.

Wednesday happenings
I had a very busy day. Too busy. I'm hoping tomorrow can calm down but it's not looking good for me.
I spent over an hour getting to the hair salon and getting my hair colored and cut. That was one of my problems.
We saw the Foo Fighters last night. I stayed up too late and got up too early. Thank goodness for coffee and tea!
Gary Clark Jr. opened and he did a great job!
We were complete nosebleed seats. There was no one behind us!
I love how my hubby refuses to smile in photos. He likes to look mysterious.
My hubby's company went through major layoffs. So far, he is still there. I'm praying that stays for awhile!
I have a job interview tomorrow! I've done a lot of preparation for it. Fingers crossed that I'll do good. It's a raise if I get it!
Dave broke his leg. Nate (the bass player) had a baby. The Foo Fighters put out a great two and a half hour show with no encore. They played tons of great tunes and I did enjoy the show.

High five for Friday
Welcome to high five for Friday! I'm excited to go to the thunder tonight! Woohoo! Thunder up!
My new job has me very busy and I'm smiling about it. I have too much energy for a slow job. I'm still learning the hard way, from mistakes, but I doubt that will ever change.
A little part of me was heart broken this week over the google reader fiasco. Like you, I've used google reader to keep up with my blogs. Like you, I'm switching to bloglovin.
On a separate note, I'm eating salad fruits and veggies all day so I can go nuts at the game! Will I lose weight? The scale will tell me tomorrow. Update will be later. Please stay tuned for silly Saturday!

Thankful Thursday with a hop
Dear Friends,
Welcome to Thankful Thursday! It is my pleasure to remind you to be thankful. Today, I am thankful to be done with state required exams for my job. Its been a long haul this week to get prepared. As I write, I haven't actually taken the exam yet but I fully expect to pass.
Please hop on board for the Grow Your Blog Hop!
I am a big fan of this hop and have found some wonderful bloggers!
THIS WEEK'S HOSTS & LOVELY CO-HOSTS!

Paula from Call Me PMc (HOST)
Martine from Way Beyond the Naked Truth (CO-HOST)
Annamaria from Bakewell Junction (CO-HOST)
Esther from Esther Norine Designs (CO-HOST)
Kait from High Heels and Hot Deals (CO-HOST)
WHEN YOU LINK UP TO THIS PARTY:
- Follow your hosts and co-hosts
- Link up the main page of your blog, not an individual post. You may link up your individual posts to Marvelous Mondays.
- Visit and follow other bloggers
- Comment to let them know that you stopped by and how you followed (Email, GFC, Facebook, Bloglovin, etc)
- Invite them to visit your blog (be sure to leave your blog web address - too many times have i seen bloggers comment and request a visit to their blog without leaving their blog web address)
- Communicate with them about what you like on their blog. Let them know you are interested in their blog. USE THEIR NAME! A simple "I'm so and so stopping by. I followed you please follow me." just isn't going to interest someone into visiting your blog. Sure, you can request a visit to your blog or a follow along but engage in some type of conversation first.
- Grab a button and promote the party(you can get the button on This Gal Cooks right here.)

Thankful Thursday letter
Dear Lord,
Thank You for blessing me with the new job and going the extra mile to get me training in Phoenix instead of Cleveland! I am overwhelmed with your goodness! Most importantly, thank You for Your grace, which I do not deserve. I have never deserved anything good yet You give generously. Thank You!

High five for Friday!
Welcome to high five for Friday!
1- New Year's Eve was fun celebrating with my hubby!
2- New Year's Day was cold volunteering at a race.
3- Wednesday was my last day at the old job and that was awesome!
4- I made scones Thursday with previously frozen buttermilk. Pinterest steered me wrong because the thawed buttermilk was no good. I tossed the scones. They did look good but that's not enough.
5- Today my teeth will be fixed and I'll be able to eat normal foods again! I plan on complaining to the dentist about how painful eating was.
6- I'm weighing in tomorrow to see if all this dental work translated into a weight loss. I'll be shocked if I lost a pound because all I ate was carbs. Carbs are so soft and easier to eat than good healthy veggies.
Please cheer with me! It's the weekend! Woohoo! Also, please stay tuned for silly Saturday.

Thankful Thursday
Welcome to thankful Thursday. This post is a great reminder to always be thankful. Today I am thankful for new opportunities and great support from family and friends. I wrapped up my time at my last job and said my goodbyes. It was great working with my last team and I felt close to most of them. My eyes are turned to the future and the new things I will learn, new friendships will be developed, and I'm expecting to find job satisfaction. I have hope that this will be great.
What are you thankful for today? I'd love for you to share with me and I will email you back. Please stay tuned for high five for Friday!
