Weight Loss Wednesday: Top Five

1) I lost one pound in one week. Only nine more pounds/weeks to go.
2) I made banana bread with whole wheat flour and some chocolate chips. Yum!
3) I'm keeping my calorie count together on Myfitnesspal.
4) I'm trying to decide how I'll keep from over doing in on Thanksgiving.
5) I am running a 5k on Thanksgiving and perhaps another on Friday.

Hump day

When the week gets long and wearisome, its good to look towards the future. Thinking about fun activities or something exciting that is coming up helps me stay positive. I'm reminded of Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things."

We made it!


I am pleased with this week. Milestones in the kitchen were created. Satisfying work was completed. I have a long weekend to look forward to. The traditional morning Frappaccino was perfection.


For the weekend, I am looking forward to some Redhawks action and OU tailgating fun! I will have fun and stay safe. I wish you a wonderful weekend and feel free to share your fun weekend stories with me.

Big Plans


It was a big deal getting through a full week of the new job after completing training. I’ve got big plans to do it again. I’m back on the “diet bandwagon” and “running bandwagon” as well. My plan is to focus on my diet to be healthier and lose some weight.
