Thankful Thursday

There's a lot of things to be thankful for. My health, my family's health, my job and my kitties. I think it's important to reflect on positive things. I had the interview today and I'll find out about the job later. I'm very nervous to find out whether I got it or not. Either way, I still have a good job.

Thankful Thursday

I've got a lot to be thankful for.
1-Thursday is double special today because I have the pack pint run and the Red Earth Brewers club meeting.
2-Chomps is a sweety.
3-the weather this weekend will be perfect for brewing beer! Woot woot!
4-I gained one pound on the trip, which is basically the same as maintaining weight. Awesome possum!
5-I'm still having fun with the photo option in the you version app.
Get the word in you daily! Tomorrow's post should be about the club meeting. I'll try to take lots of pics. Photos make the best blogposts.

Thankful Thursday

Welcome to Thankful Thursday, a post for all things positive.
I have posted this before but after a tough week, I need to get excited about something.
I am thankful for good friends.

This crazy crew is getting back together for a little weekend fun next week.
We use nicknames to protect the innocent.
Skub is on the left and he lives in Anchorage Alaska.
I'm in the middle of this crew, E-diddy.
Blue is on the right, he is my husband and we both live in Oklahoma City.
Next week, we get to help Skub celebrate one good weekend of bachelorhood before he gets married in February. Yes, we get to go to Anchorage, Alaska in February for a wedding. I am not excited for the weather, hence the reason I am happy to not live in Alaska any longer.
What are you thankful for today?
Please stay tuned for High Five For Friday.

Thankful Thursday

Welcome to Thankful Thursday. I have found that being thankful helps put stresses at ease. Truly, life is stressful but there's no need to focus energy on things that can't be changed.
There's many things to be thankful for and I usually choose something obvious like pets, family, and friends. I am thankful for all of these precious moments of life.
Today, I am thankful for a good laugh. Observe the photo below with the bag of ice. That was how The COPA Reefers cooled the equipment at our first pool party. The equipment died multiple times from heat exhaustion and at the time I was frustrated. Another priceless moment to chuckle at. Fortunately, we have better equipment to play gigs and if you need a band in Oklahoma City, that plays Jimmy Buffet, Eagles, and original tunes let me know! :)
If you have a good story, please share it with me and stay tuned for Friday Chaos!

Thankful Thursday & Instagrid Party

Welcome friends to thankful Thursday and the instagrid party! Today, I'm thankful for funny stories. A good laugh is excellent medicine. The photo was Grandma-in-law's birthday and father-in-law put a candle for every year of her life. Honestly, I can't remember how many candles but it is more than 50. The smoke alarm went off and Don's eyebrows were slightly burnt. We were busting up laughing and the picture tells the story. That was a moment I'd like to relive. Maybe Ryan could do that to my cake but not any time soon. :)I'm repeating some photos for the instagrid party because the photos are so fun! Thanks to Anne at And Everything Nice blog for hosting the instagrid party. I hope your button gets fixed soon.END

Thankful Thursday

It's thankful Thursday and I like to share what I am thankful for. This is a valuable exercise for the mind. Focusing attention on the positives in life can help reduce the stresses that come with life. Please join me for thankful Thursday every week!

Today I am thankful for my instrument. My piano is not the best money can buy but I am blessed to have it. It's been a joy to play and a hassle to pack. Now that I'm in a band, I have had to buy a new bag, stand, and bench so travel can be easier. It's great to have a piano to play. For many years, I had a cheap keyboard, that didn't have all 88 keys. It worked but didn't fit my needs. Now my needs are changing and I look forward to the next piano. Until then, I'm enjoying what I have now.
What are you thankful for today?
