High Five For Friday!

Welcome to High Five For Friday where I like to link up with Lauren From My Grey Desk.
This week I had some food success and some good runs on the treadmill. I'm getting close to the 1 minute plank-a-day challenge that I've been doing with Kristin at Kristin's Knook.
Currently, my friend is visiting from Alaska and we are have tons of fun!
I am also linking up gifts I received from the Blogger Friend Swap. Thank you to Autumn of Mrs. in the Making for hosting this fun swap! My partner was Marci at Stone Cottage Adventures and we decided on handmade goods. Pictures are not included partly (definitely not going to get that photo up today, sorry Marci!) because I started using the goodies right away! There was so much good bath stuff and she even made me a pouch for my purse. I was blown away and impressed by Marci's thoughtfulness.
What did I give? A scarf and not much else. Marci, I owe you a Starbucks drink!
Happy Friday Friends!
Lets all rejoice in the weekend!
Please stay tuned for Silly Saturday.

Silly Saturday

I love a good hot shower.
I also enjoy a hot soak in a bath.
Sometimes I indulge in both consecutively.
How about you?

The night of no sleep

Today’s rating is Positive.

After a night of tossing, turning, and constant thinking I was left with a day of headaches, nausea, and more thinking. I have learned that I am good at negotiating problems and finding solutions. I have a good partner in my husband too. The solutions we find may not be perfect but I believe that God is leading us in the right direction some how.

Tonight, in order to find a good nights sleep, I am going to take a hot bath before bed. I expect that will help relax my body and my mind. We all need sleep and going too long without can lead to more headaches, nausea, and poor decisions.
