High Five For Friday!

Welcome to High Five For Friday where I like to link up with Lauren From My Grey Desk. This week I had some food success and some good runs on the treadmill. I'm getting close to the 1 minute plank-a-day challenge that I've been doing with Kristin at Kristin's Knook. Currently, my friend is visiting from Alaska and we are have tons of fun! I am also linking up gifts I received from the Blogger Friend Swap. Thank you to Autumn of Mrs. in the Making for hosting this fun swap! My partner was Marci at Stone Cottage Adventures and we decided on handmade goods. Pictures are not included partly (definitely not going to get that photo up today, sorry Marci!) because I started using the goodies right away! There was so much good bath stuff and she even made me a pouch for my purse. I was blown away and impressed by Marci's thoughtfulness. What did I give? A scarf and not much else. Make a Difference Monday

Welcome to Make a Difference Monday. Today, I am focusing on making a difference in my health. It has recently come to my attention that I need to lose ten pounds. I will be working on nutrition and my goal is to be ten pounds lighter by January 17th. You can follow my progress on My Fitness Pal.

On a separate note, it is time to link up with my bloggy friends for a fun scarf swap! A big thank you to April at A Rustic Love for hosting this swap! I was paired up with Christina at Wifey's Notes. She sent a beautiful orange infinity scarf and I just love it! Please visit her blog to see what I sent and definitely visit April's blog. High Five for Friday Fall Swap Reveal

Its high five for Friday and I couldn't be more pleased that I survived another week. This week, I get to reveal some goodies from the "It's the Great Pumpkin Swap" sponsored by my favorite bloggy friends Kristin of Kristin's kNook and Allie at A Day In a Joyful Life. Kudos to both of you for creating a fun swap. My swap buddy was Mei at Diary of a Fair Weather Diver. We had a lot of fun getting to know each other and Mei was so kind to send a little toy for my kitties. Chomps enjoyed the catnip immensely. Please go check out these beautiful ladies blogs and tell them I said hi. (Whenever my hubby is on the phone with his friends or family, I always tell him to say hi for me while he's talking. He doesn't like it but most times he will say "Esther says hi." Hahaha! Really the only person I crack up is me, I'm not that funny to anyone else.)   On a separate note, tonight is the Red Dot Auction at IAO. Hopefully, my photo will get sold and help raise money for this lovely art gallery in downtown OKC. Thanks and please stay tuned for Silly Saturday.

Swap Reveal Day

Today is swap reveal. I have participated in two swaps and I'm excited to share the goodies I've received from my bloggy BFFs. First is the scarf swap from Allie at A Day In A Joyful Life.  I received two lovely scarves from Hannah at Thirsty World Designs. Go check her blog out today to see what I sent her. It was super cute and I need to go buy another scarf for myself. 

The next swap was called "I made it for you" sponsored by Libby at Its Never Too Late Although I'm Always Late and Danielle at The Ordinary Wife Blog. You need to check what I made for Melissa at We Play Cottage because I made something really cute. She did a fantastic job for me. I am proud to have hand warmers perfect for walking to work. I have a ten minute walk from my house and I am truly blessed because my last commute was an hour. I also have an adorable hair clip and it matches my work uniform: black.

These swaps came at the perfect time of the year. Literally, three days ago the weather did a 180 and got cold on us. Brrr! END

Top Pick Tuesday

Mug, oh sweet mug. How much do I love you? You deliver life giving tea early in the morning and late in the day. Your dishwasher safe qualities are important to me, otherwise you would sit there dirty for weeks. I am a mug fiend and am always looking for more mugs (odd since I have more than enough.)

It is Top Pick Tuesday and I am sharing my passion for mugs via Dalayna at Pointing Up and Britt at Yellow Umbrella Design for a recent mug swap. I was surprised by the sweetest package from Pamela at Pamela's Heavenly Treats. I already follow her because of her sweet but healthy treats. She pegged me as a cat person, obvious since Chomps and Kirby are always showing up on my blog, and ordered the cutest kitty mug.

Dear Pamela,
