MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Thanks to Shanna at Because Shanna Said So, for giving me such a fun idea!
Thanks Shanna!
Esther's Top Twenty in 2012
20: Good food and kitchen success. I've had good times and bad times in the kitchen. I try to focus on the good.
19: Sweet kitties, Chomps and Kirby (even though they are super annoying too.)
18: Biking, such a fun activity! I hate it when its over and I love to pair biking with pub crawls.
17: Photography, I love to take photos of everything!
16: Boat rides and hanging out in the lake. I didn't get enough of it in 2012 but I got a good taste.
15: Walking around downtown and urban living. Its great to not have to drive and deal with traffic or parking.
14: Face Time on iPhones. I can see my family whenever they have time and I do too.
13: Blogging has been a blast and encouraging!
12: Live music, whether I'm playing or going to a show. Its all fantastic!
11: Cupcakes were a big feature this year until my teeth gave out on me.
10: Girls Night! Woohoo!
9: Good friends to hang out with and visit with. We've had some good times this year.
8: Christmas season! I love the holidays every year.
7: July! My birthday and our anniversary and his birthday. Its always a good time.

Top Pick Tuesday

One of the best trips we ever took was in Australia. We had rented a camper van for three weeks and we took our time exploring the east coast. We were always staying at campsites designed for campers and our fellow campers were very friendly. It was at camp that I learned the Australian phrase, " How ya going?" It took me a little bit to get what he was saying. This picture is from our fave spot, Port Macquarie (don't hold me to the spelling here.) The fish and chips were to die for but the pancakes were not what we expected (they were so tiny!) I am referring to two separate restaurants in the little town. If given the opportunity, I would visit again. It would be very cool to live in Australia for a time too.

This is one of my best photos, taken with a Canon Elph, when I didn't really know how to use the camera. I had just gotten it. All of my photos are copyrighted and you are welcome to ask me for a copy and attribute it to me.

Top Pick Tuesday

I love this photo. The bright colors, the ancient boats. It calls to me. Perhaps, I'd like to be out in the ocean. Perhaps on a bigger boat. This was taken in Alexandria, Egypt while we were on vacation. I had a canon dslr but currently use a canon elph.END

I was helping the Independent Artists of Oklahoma for one of the Idealab's. My job was to document the event through photos. I'm not sure why I originally loved this photo but I did. Maybe because there is no focus, which makes the photo interesting.

What do you think?

Long weekend = short work week

Its been a fun long weekend for me and hopefully you as well. We saw the Redhawks play, went to a tailgating party, saw “Crazy Stupid Love” and went shopping today.

I’ve always been interested in art and lately its been photography. I have enjoyed writing on this blog and playing the piano too. I am a creative and unique person. Hopefully that shines through my photos. Eventually, I’ll need to print and frame my work so I can have a show.
