Silly Saturday

Dear banana, I don't get you. Technically, you are nutritious and good to eat. Honestly, your texture grosses me out, especially when you're ripe and bruised. Your taste is questionable; at times it's ok and sometimes no taste or the over ripe taste. Yuck. I ate you every day this week but it was a chore.
How do you feel about bananas?ps;don't read tomorrow's post unless you like rantings and venting.

My favorite activities

These are my top ten favorite activities to relax and unwind after a stressful day.
1: Writing- usually about anything,
2: Reading - I like to read books that help me learn about myself and interesting subjects,
3: Music - I love playing the piano and listening to music,
4: Tv watching - favorite shows include Biggest loser and Extreme Makeover Home Edition,
5: Crocheting - I like to make scarves and give the finished product away to the needy,
6: Walking - I like going out for a walk, a run, or a hike in the forest,
7: Biking - I love going out on my bike and hitting the road. Its so freeing!,
8: Photography - I love taking photos of architecture, food, and flowers,
9: Shopping - I don't even need to buy anything. Sometimes its just relaxing to browse,
10: Hydrating - tea at Starbucks, or relaxing with a beer or wine at a nice bar. Its hard not to feel relaxed after hydrating.

Long weekend = short work week

Its been a fun long weekend for me and hopefully you as well. We saw the Redhawks play, went to a tailgating party, saw “Crazy Stupid Love” and went shopping today.

I’ve always been interested in art and lately its been photography. I have enjoyed writing on this blog and playing the piano too. I am a creative and unique person. Hopefully that shines through my photos. Eventually, I’ll need to print and frame my work so I can have a show.

Destructive Tuesday

There were many tornadoes that came through Oklahoma today. There’s so much damage. I’ve learned a lot today about how to be prepared. Its time to go shopping! I’ll be buying another flashlight (who knows where the others are), a weather radio, and I know the Cox Center is the safest place in downtown Oklahoma City. I can pack some beers, game, and camping chairs to wait out the storm there. Hiding in my garage is ok too if there’s not enough time to get to Cox Center. What do you do to get prepared?
