High Five for Friday!

1- I love Fridays. They are my favorite days of the week. Work seems easier or less stressful and the weekend feels so fresh and exciting. 2- I've been taking workout classes at my local gym and I've been sore in a very good way. Hopefully the scale or my clothes will notice the extra work. 3- I made it out with Runhers for national running day! 4- Beer and summer make me very happy.

5- I have no plans this weekend but to hang out with my hubby and possibly check out the Paseo First Friday arts festival. It will be a good weekend.

High five for Friday!

Welcome to high five for Friday!
1- New Year's Eve was fun celebrating with my hubby!
2- New Year's Day was cold volunteering at a race.
3- Wednesday was my last day at the old job and that was awesome!
4- I made scones Thursday with previously frozen buttermilk. Pinterest steered me wrong because the thawed buttermilk was no good. I tossed the scones. They did look good but that's not enough.
5- Today my teeth will be fixed and I'll be able to eat normal foods again! I plan on complaining to the dentist about how painful eating was.
6- I'm weighing in tomorrow to see if all this dental work translated into a weight loss. I'll be shocked if I lost a pound because all I ate was carbs. Carbs are so soft and easier to eat than good healthy veggies.

High Five For Friday: Holiday Vox Box Edition!

Welcome to High Five For Friday! I am always a happy camper on Friday, even though I have to work tomorrow (boohoo.) I would love to introduce you to Influenster, which is a fun website to fill out surveys and possibly receive goodies to try out. My favorite part is that joining is free. My least favorite part is that you don't always receive a box of goodies. I would definitely recommend joining the site because it is a lot of fun. If you need an invite, please comment below and I'll send it to you. I asked Influenster and they let me in. How nice of them! This was my first box and I was ridiculously excited! I immediately checked it in the site and instagrammed all my goodies! Let me show you everything. First up is the brush from Goody:

The absorbent Microfiber Bristles do an efficient job of drying my hair. I am not a big fan of hair dryers and using this brush helped my hair feel dry enough to not need the blow dryer. It works well and I would say the 30% dry faster is an accurate description.

Next is the E Boost:

I immediately enjoyed this yummy flavor until the last few sips. Those last few sips were just not the same as the beginning. Maybe I made it wrong (which is very hard to believe.) Jillian Micheals is on the website, so this is probably really healthy stuff.

Next is the Lipshine from NYC:

I love it! Its not sticky! Its nice and shiny! It keeps my lips moisturized. This is a good color for anyone: Nude York City. I might want to get some other colors of this product.

Next is coupons (I'd say coupon but it doesn't sound right here):

This is a coupon for a discount of off shoes. I love shoes and am deciding whether to use it or not. I need more time in the day to browse. I am forever browsing and rarely actually buying. This could be a problem but then again its not a problem (poor checkbook doesn't see enough coming in.)

I have yet to try the next two products but I'm planning on it soon. I need a spa day for the mask and the nails (not pictured yet.) I am sure the oatmeal is good but I haven't had this flavor yet.

I can't wait to get these cuties on my nails from Kiss!

I am so excited for tomorrow! I am getting my hair colored! I am ready to look awesome and perhaps I'll share with you all how good I'm looking. My top pick for this week is Chomps and Kirby being so very sweet. Try just love head scratches and belly rubs. Band practice was great on Tuesday and I think things are really coming together for Sunday's show.
