High five for Friday

Welcome to high five for Friday! I'm excited to go to the thunder tonight! Woohoo! Thunder up!

My new job has me very busy and I'm smiling about it. I have too much energy for a slow job. I'm still learning the hard way, from mistakes, but I doubt that will ever change.

A little part of me was heart broken this week over the google reader fiasco. Like you, I've used google reader to keep up with my blogs. Like you, I'm switching to bloglovin.

On a separate note, I'm eating salad fruits and veggies all day so I can go nuts at the game! Will I lose weight? The scale will tell me tomorrow. Update will be later. Please stay tuned for silly Saturday!

Make a difference Monday

I strive to make a difference in my community. Over the years, I have found different ways to give back. My current project is to crochet scarves for the needy. It may be 100 plus degrees right now but winter will come. I enjoy making these scarves and this year the beneficiary will be People's Church. I am currently accepting orders for scarves as well. If you would like a handmade cozy warm scarf, please let me know what color. Price is always negotiable since I find the activity to be cathartic. Today, I will smile to as many people as I can. Compliment

Tonight, my husband gave me a compliment and now I'm on cloud nine. I have a smile from ear to ear.

I always work hard to do my best. It feels so fantastic when I am recognized.

There is a lot going on in our lives right now and I can see a glimpse of God's hand guiding me to the resolution.  I need a few more miracles Lord but thank You for what You have given me today.

How to stay positive

1: Find things to smile at. If you need inspiration, look at a flower or look at the comics.
2: Think about something good. It can be anything good like good food or a good experience.
3: Breathe. Deep breathing gives you extra oxygen to stay positive.
4: Move. Get up for a walk. Take a yoga class. Any kind of movement will help you stay positive.
5: Pray. God gives generously to those who ask and asking to stay positive is a request that won't be ignored.

Inner piece
