Long days of hunting for perfection

I am looking high and low for the job that’s right for me. I have a company that is ready to hire me but is it perfect? I do not know for sure until I have looked under every nook and cranny. It feels as though I am procrastinating. It feels frustrating to not hear from people. Today the hunt is not over but I see the end and its not too far away.

What does perfection look like to you?

Pets are good for health

Today’s rating is Positive.

A long time ago, I was having a really bad day and Chomps came over. He curled up in my lap and stayed long enough for me to calm down and feel better. Stroking a furry friend can help elevate your mood. They need you to be comfortable and happy. At the same time, they bring so much joy that it’s not a fair swap. My kitties bring me a lot of love and bed hogging.

I did an interview today and I felt it was too short. In the end, I won’t stop the hunt until I am where I belong. I know this can’t be forced but should feel natural. My time is coming and I am going to continue praying for the patience and wisdom. Thank you Lord for being by my side every day. I need all your love, help, and support! Amen!

Excitement builds

Today’s rating is Positive.

As I count the days, I am growing more excited. I know that there are some big changes coming and its going to be very good. On some of my toughest stressful days, feeling excited about something in the future helps me get through the day. Its a big relief and sometimes all that can be done is to change your perspective.

I am still on the hunt for a new job. There are still some possible prospects but I will be patient for now. I’ll just keep the hunt for now and pray for the wisdom to accept the right position.

The Hunt

Today’s rating is Positive.

I did good at work and I was very productive at home. I’m currently on the hunt for a new job. Its not easy in this economy. I’m not willing to take a job that doesn’t fit me either. Once I am in a job that’s a better fit, so much of my stress will be reduced.

It does look like tomorrow is going to be an interesting day. The weather is potentially going to cause commuting issues. So far, I haven't let snow slow me down. If its enough snow, I might just forget going to the gym for safety’s sake. How does snow affect your commute?
