Goals

According to experts, writing goals down increases your chances of success. 

I blogged about brewing beer and that turned out ok. 

My big crazy goal is to live in the Florida Keys and still travel and see the world. It's very expensive to live there and jobs aren't plentiful but that's what I want. 

I can find a way to make my crazy goals happen. Current idea is to move offices with my current company. It's possible and the pay would be there. We'd have to live in Key Largo, the first key. Plans to reach my goal may change but this has been my goal for 10 years. I'm not going to give up. 

Kayaking

We had a lot of fun kayaking in the mangroves of Key Largo. I learned that these boats are extremely difficult to tip, which was a fact to ease my fears. Paddling should be more back work than arm work but I still felt it was a great arm workout. It was fun cruising along the shoreline. We saw cool houses and lots of grass. I may have seen some fish but it wasn't easy to tell with all the sea grass in the way. This activity was much warmer than snorkeling. I am dedicating another blog post to that epic adventure.

Key Largo

I just got back from vacation and it was fantastic! The first stop was Key Largo for New Years Eve. There was a spectacular fireworks show that I completely missed. I don't know how I missed it. Key Largo is a very laid back, chillin' like a villain sort of island. There's great hotels, good boat slips, gorgeous bay and an excellent discount liquor store. If you need an island escape, I would recommend Key Largo. Just don't go to the Key Largo Conch House.
