Half marathon training and Chapel Creek Winery grape stomping

The day started at Lake Hefner with a 10 mile run around the lake. The sun was rising behind me when I arrived. We ran intervals of 10 minutes with 5 minute walks until mile 9. We decided walking was I order until the finish.

After the epic run, we went to church. Later that day we went to Chapel Creek Winery in El Reno for a grape stomping festival. There was live music, good weather, and wine. All the grapes are grown in Oklahoma. The weather may not be grape friendly but the farmers make do.

Grapes are cute!

I washed my feet off before stomping on the grapes.

I had lots of fun relaxing with a glass of wine with friends. Sometimes I do events strictly so I can blog about it and sometimes I forget to post about it. Today was a success on many fronts. Tomorrow, I'll run 4 miles on the treadmill. Half marathon is coming up in a month!

I love all comments, questions, and positive feedback. Constructive criticism is questionable. Joking, a little. :)
