This was my drink after running 4.98 miles, which I like to say is 5 miles since I've walked to and from the car multiple times today. I've decided on running the spirit of survival half marathon in Lawton, Oklahoma October 5th. Runhers will begin the 12 week training July 19. This is my first half and I'm excited!
Today's run was great! I felt good and I was keeping a good pace of 12 minute miles. I may want to work on speed but I'm undecided. I've been comfortable at that pace. Yesterday's run was on a treadmill and truly felt like death. I had to fight for those four miles and there was a lot of walking. I finished it but I hated the struggle.
