Weight loss Wednesday

Last Saturday, I weighed in and that pesky pound had crept back. I'd really like to lose 7 pounds but lately I'm going back and forth between 6 & 7. It's getting frustrating! I know that my workouts need to be a little more intense and my nutrition needs to be better. Weight loss has been a very long journey for me. The destination is never found but I keep heading towards my goal.

I know I'm not the only person on this journey. Does anyone have any encouragement or tips to share? The photo is from last weekend's bachelorette party when I ate tons bit didn't eat the cupcake. Yay me!

    1. I did not eat that cupcake and I did not eat the cookies offered at work today. Shocking, right?

  2. I think it's great that you're not giving up even though you're frustrated! I find that mixing up my exercise routine a little bit or downloading some new songs for my gym playlist makes me work a little harder. Hang in there!

  3. Yummm! I usually don't eat icing. Why does it look so good in red? Just kidding Esther. Good woman. It will have a positive effect passing up on the real bad stuff. I am having a superfood orange juice shake for breakfast. Consist of spinach, kale , wheat grass. Blue algae apple and orange juice and my choice of fruit yogurt . Takes a moment to get used to. but it makes you full of energy and keeps you full for the whole day.

  5. I could also use some encouragement. I am trying to lose the 20+ pounds gained from my pregnancy ( and sadly my son is almost 2 )

  6. Weight loss is always so tough. no matter how much you have left to lose. I would say try doing something different. Go kickboxing or switch up your diet for a week or two. I know I always do best when I switch it up. Good luck girly!

    1. I have switched things up and now I'm saying no to free food and desserts, especially cookies. It's been tough. I'm not drinking soda pop any more. Sad. :( I'm hoping these changes will make a difference.

  8. Losing weight is probably one of the hardest things to do. The best thing is determination and self-discipline! If you make sure to tell yourself that you really want this and put your mind to it, you can do it! Hang in there girl :)

  9. Good job for not eating the cupcakes. They looked good!! I have been at a few parties this summer that have had the most amazing looking cupcakes. A lady from my church makes them.They look just like the Pinkitzil ones. But I did not eat any of them at the parties this summer. Sooooo hard!!!
