Strengthens

Philipians 4:13 So if we can do all things through Christ, does that mean we should feel like we can? I keep trying to remember this verse but it hasn't brought me any comfort lately.

I am feeling crushed by embarrassment, bills, and my day to day life. If I can get through all this pain with Christ, why don't I feel better?

Dear Lord, please help me deal with the stresses around me and bring me some financial relief. Amen.

Stay strong

Philippians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

It is easy to feel overwhelmed. Our lives are small and insignificant. Thankfully, God gives us the strength to do anything that is before us. We have strength that we didn't know was in us. Another good reminder is on the show "Biggest Loser", where contestants fight for their lives and learn how much strength is in them.

Thank you Lord for Your strength. I need it!

The glass

The glass is half full. The half empty glass shouldn't exist. People who choose to be optimistic are happier. Pessimism and realism can blind us from the good that is around. This adds stress to our packed lives. You can choose optimism and see positive aspects of life.
