Thankful Thursday

I have lots to be thankful for. Let me share a couple with you.
I enjoyed a fun run on Sunday! Hey I don't look bad in those short shorts!
Chomps is a furry little angel (most days).
I indulged in dessert not just once...
...but twice. Yum!
Final thing is the island. It's been over a year. It doesn't look like much but to me it's very definition is paradise. There's no internet. Just peaceful waves and little no-see-ums.
Here is today's verse. Happy Thursday friends!

Thankful Thursday

Welcome to Thankful Thursday, a beacon of positivity for myself and anyone else who wants to join. Last week's comments were filled with fantastic reasons to be thankful. Today, I am thankful for the blogging community. Everyone is gracious, kind, and supportive. I'm thankful to be a part of such a beautiful community.

I would like to thank you for joining me on my blogging journey. Everyone who leaves a comment on this post is entered in a drawing for a $5 Starbucks card. The drawing will be held on Saturday and I will use a random number generator to pick the winner. This should be a lot of fun!

Thankful Thursday

I'm thankful for Chomps and Kirby. These furry sweethearts have been instrumental in helping me reduce stress. I love their sweet purrs and loving glances.

Several years ago, I was fired from my job and incredibly depressed. I was sitting on the floor and quietly crying to myself. (FYI crying has its purpose too.) Chomps came over and curled up in my lap. He started purring as loud as he could. Animals can be very sensitive to their human companions and they try to help us feel better.

Do you have a sweet story of how your pet rescued you?

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that today is Thursday and the day is almost over. I have been working so hard at work and at home. I am tired. My nutrition has been ok not counting the chips that I ate today.

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by life? That's been my problem this week. There's jobs, a condo in Denver, and my home in Oklahoma to worry about. Decisions will need to be made. Research needs to be completed. All at the same time, I am working so hard to get a decent commission at my job.

Dear Lord, Please help me deal with all of life's challenges. Amen.
