Make a Difference Monday

Welcome to Make a Difference Monday. I would love to have lots of encouragement or a nice little story for you today. I do not have that. Instead, I will share a verse, which will hopefully encourage you to have a positive week. Proverbs 3:5 "With all your heart you must trust the LORD and not your own judgment." Make a Difference Monday

Its make a difference Monday and all over the blogosphere, bloggers are posting a little give away. I am excited to participate in the fun. I commented on Samantha's blog 3 - Oh - 1 Grace St and I look forward to what she might have in store for me. Here are the rules for this fun exercise:

The first three people that comment on my post will get a gift from me within the next year. All you have to do is follow the rules below. It's pretty simple if you ask me. 

1. Within the year, I will create something unique to share with the first 3 people that comment on this specific post. I love giving gifts! (I may share something special that is not hand made and there's a good chance I will do it within a month instead of a year.)

In other news, I was blessed to participate in a scarf swap with my new bloggy friend Heather at Thirsty World Designs. It was quite a blessing to have received two scarves and I hope she enjoys the scarf I sent her. There's a good chance I'll be heading back to Target to get it for me.  END

Monday Madness

Dear sweet bloggy friends,

Today, I planned to post my mug swap and link up with everyone but I got a little confused. That will be another day and another post. Instead, I will post the nail polish swap that Rachel and Carly hosted. It was so fun to wait impatiently for the polish to arrive from Brandi from Simple As It Should Be sent me the sweetest package with two polishes. My schedule has been hectic and haven't done my nails yet, but will soon. Look for pictures next week. Here's the super fun package I got:

To continue my theme of positivity and Make a Difference Monday, I have decided to share an encouraging verse with you. John 16:33, "I have told you this, so that you might have peace in your hearts because of me. While you are in the world, you will have to suffer. But cheer up! I have defeated the world."

Make a difference Monday

When I lived in Denver, I gave back to the local kids at the George Wilfley Boys and Girls club. I taught students how to play piano. Usually, I would teach them in groups of 3 to 4. There were a lot of challenging moments. I knew that I was impacting some students. It was a small gift but I'm glad that I was there for the students.
